Off Work and Into the Car

After a long day at my first job as a host, I was finally off work at eighteen, ready to pick up Mitchell. I made my way to the parking lot, feeling the weight of my work slacks, which had seen better days and had a few stains from the hustle and bustle of serving guests.

Once I reached the car, I carefully helped Mitchell into his seat, making sure he was snug in his Pampers. He looked up at me with that adorable smile, completely unaware of the chaos that was about to unfold.

As I settled into the driver’s seat, I felt a familiar pressure building. Without warning, I let out a loud fart, the sound echoing in the enclosed space. “Oops! Sorry, buddy!” I laughed, glancing back at Mitchell, who just giggled, clearly amused by the whole situation.

With the windows rolled up, the smell lingered, and I couldn’t help but chuckle at the absurdity of it all. “Well, this is one way to celebrate being off work!” I joked, knowing that this would be another funny story to share later. As we drove off, I felt a sense of relief and joy, ready to enjoy the rest of the day with my little buddy.

As we continued driving, the car was filled with the sounds of the road and Mitchell's cheerful chatter. Suddenly, I felt another wave of pressure building up. Without hesitation, I let out a loud fart, the sound echoing in the confined space once again.

“Whoa! That one was a biggie!” I exclaimed, laughing at the absurdity of it all. “Hey, Mitchell, can you smell that? What do you think it smells like?”

Mitchell turned his head, a curious expression on his face. He took a moment, sniffing the air dramatically, and then broke into a fit of giggles. “It smells funny!” he said, his little face lighting up with amusement.

“Funny? Is that your official review?” I chuckled, enjoying the moment. “Maybe I should start a new career as a professional farter!”

Mitchell laughed even harder, clearly entertained by our little game. “Yeah! You’re the best farter!” he declared, and I couldn’t help but burst into laughter, grateful for these silly moments we shared together on our drive.
