Mitchell “Royel” Abbott - Biography
Mitchell Carlisle Abbott was born December 12, 1992, in Lexington, Kentucky, to Zenda Abbott and Brian Abbott. The family relocated from Kentucky to Ohio before settling in Calabasas, California.
Abbott's education includes attendance at Children's World, Lupin Hill, A.E. Wright Middle School, Agoura High School, and Calabasas High School. He subsequently enrolled at Pierce College for two years and took part-time courses at Arizona State University.
Abbott commenced his entertainment career during middle school, securing representation with The Osbrink Agency and talent manager Judy Landis. His television work includes a guest-starring role as Edgar on Nickelodeon's "iCarly" and a commercial for Disney Channel promoting a karaoke video game featuring Hannah Montana, Camp Rock, and High School Musical. He was selected for a nationwide Sprint Cellular endorsement campaign, filming in New York. Abbott received acting instruction from Kristopher Kyer and Dennis Lavalle.
