Fast Food Follies
Taking Mitchell out for fast food was a much-anticipated break from his usual Gerber and formula routine. I decided it was time for him to indulge a bit, and I had a fun plan in mind. The rule for the day was simple: he had to eat a ton of fast food, no normal orders allowed.
As we pulled into the drive-thru, I could see his eyes light up at the sight of the menu. "Can I have a double cheeseburger?" he asked, practically bouncing in his seat. "Absolutely!" I replied, grinning at his enthusiasm. We ordered a couple of those, along with a large fries and a couple of shakes—chocolate and vanilla, of course.
Once we parked and settled in with our food, Mitchell wasted no time digging in. He took a big bite of his double cheeseburger, and I watched as his face lit up with joy. The combination of flavors was a delightful change from his usual meals. He followed it up with a sip of his chocolate shake, his eyes widening at the creamy sweetness.
"Yummy!" he exclaimed, a big grin plastered across his face as he reached for the fries next. He was in fast food heaven, and I couldn't help but laugh at how much he was enjoying this little adventure.
We spent the meal chatting and laughing, with Mitchell happily munching away. It was a fun break from our typical routine, and seeing him enjoy the fast food experience made it all the more special. Today was all about indulgence, and I was glad to share it with my little buddy.
As Mitchell continued to devour his double cheeseburger and fries, I felt a familiar pressure building in my stomach. I knew a fart was coming on, and since we were tucked away in a corner of the restaurant, I figured it was the perfect opportunity to let it out.
With a mischievous grin, I leaned slightly to one side and let it rip—loud and proud. The sound echoed just enough for Mitchell to hear, and his eyes widened in surprise. He looked up at me, a mix of shock and amusement on his face, before bursting into laughter.
"You farted again!" he exclaimed, giggling uncontrollably. I couldn't help but laugh along with him, the silliness of the moment making our fast food outing even more enjoyable.
"Yep, buddy! Just like you, sometimes I have to let it out!" I replied, chuckling at the absurdity of it all. It was moments like these that made our time together special—filled with laughter, good food, and a little bit of humor.
