NO DEADLINES

Captured somewhere in Los Angeles today, 7/19/26. Something shifted when I stepped outside the cocoon of Woodland Hills. The energy hit differently—raw, electric, alive. My spirit woke up and roared like it had been waiting for this exact moment. Deep gratitude to the souls who turned an ordinary day into something unforgettable. The future? It’s brimming with wild, untapped magic. Stay tuned.

Back in the studio. It feels like home, and at the same time, like starting over. The sole intention here is to create—no pressure, no deadlines, just picking up the threads of inspiration where I last left them. The initial sessions are pure exploration. Playing with sounds, testing tones, hunting for the whispers of Factory Boy, the would-be follow-up to Ghost in the Machine. It was shelved once, but maybe it's a story that still needs to be told.

For now, I'm grateful for these scattered pockets of studio time. It’s a rare kind of sanctuary. The world outside feels loud and demanding, but in here, there’s quiet and courage. This is the space where artists rediscover their essence. It’s not about the charts or accolades but about the sacred permission to make something—anything—just because it needs to exist. Regardless of the outcome, the act of creating is the gift.

We cranked up "When Doves Cry" by Prince and "Word Up" by Cameo to set the tone. That funk, those beats—they brought the room to life, got heads nodding and feet tapping. It was our prelude, our spark. The moment warmed up fast, and suddenly, it was all flow and no filter.

We laughed till the sun dipped low,
Strings hummed, riffs started to glow.
Words unraveled, raw and true,
Ideas sparked in every hue.

The guitar sang, pens raced, and inspiration poured out like it had been bottled up for years. No agenda, no pressure—just creating for the pure joy of it, for the thrill of letting ideas breathe and take flight.

“Here, there is no yet.

Here, there is only this—the light on our skin, the breath we didn’t plan, the ground that has been waiting our whole lives to hold us.

Be still.

The trees are not becoming. They already are. The stream does not rush toward tomorrow. It moves, and it is already home.

We have carried so much that was never now.

Set it down.
Let the silence do what silence does.

Feel our heartbeat. That is enough.
Feel the air arrive and leave and arrive again. That is the whole teaching.

Nothing to reach.
Nothing to fix.
Nothing to prove to the version of us that lives in the future.

Just this breath.
Just this green.
Just this raw, holy morning where we finally stop and become real.

This is the practice. Not later. Not once we’ve earned it.

Right here. Right now.

Follow us into the woods.”
