LOST AND FOUND IN THE VALLEY

Captured on July 31st 2026 with my iPhone. Somewhere on a winding trail, lost but not lost, deep in the valley with only myself for company. There was no map to follow, no path to certainty—just the quiet hum of solitude and the vastness above. A pause, a breath, and a glance upward. The sky, endless and unconcerned, held me in its gaze. It whispered what I needed to remember—softness in surrender, grace in simply being.

Yesterday, I wandered off the trail somewhere deep in the valley. My feet followed the curve of the earth, but my mind floated elsewhere. Lost, but not panicked—more like an invitation to just be. At some point, I paused, fatigue washing over me, and looked up at the endless sky. An unexpected moment of connection. I pulled out my iPhone and snapped a candid photo, my tired face framed by the immensity above. There was no pretense, no perfect angle, just raw presence. And isn’t that what getting lost teaches us? To stop striving and simply look up.
