DREAMS OF ENDLESS SUMMER, VINTAGE HEARTBREAK MELODIES

Some photos never leave you.

This one started in Sarah's bedroom. Her, Brian, and me. A wall of pinned pictures. A borrowed light. We made something small and true.

That was the beginning.

Captured in the fashion district today, 7/6/26, this afternoon at 2 PM PST. The light, the textures, the movement—it all hit just right. And now, streaming through the moments, "Sweet Talk" & "On The Jam" by Kito & Reija Lee are playing, setting the rhythm for everything we saw and felt.

Picture 2014. I'm deep into Crowd Nine. Pretty Faces and Love Like A Hurricane are done — filmed back to back, sitting quiet, waiting. Neither one out yet.

So why go back?

Because the first frame was a question I hadn't finished asking.

I took it to the fashion district.

New walls.
New light.
Same idea, older eyes.
Sarah wasn't there.
But her soul was.
The way she framed a face.
The way she let color fight against black and white.

The purple hoodie.
The chains.
The crosses.
The blue-grey stare against a collage of strangers.

I kept his gaze steady.
I kept the noise behind him.

That was hers, too.

Reshooting isn't erasing.
It's returning.
You stand in the same doorway and notice what you missed.

I missed a lot.

So I went back.

And this time, I let it stay finished.
