Charlie Kirk Statue Vandalized Days After Anniversary — What Was Written on the Memorial

A memorial statue honoring Charlie Kirk was vandalized just days after its unveiling and the one-year anniversary of his assassination, according to Fox News Digital.

The eight-foot bronze statue was unveiled at Turning Point USA’s headquarters in Phoenix to mark one year since Kirk was killed. According to the report, red paint was smeared across the statue, including its face and neck, and a crude drawing was added to the chest.

A nearby sign featuring Kirk’s image was also vandalized. The sign included a Christian message referencing Jesus’ victory over death. Fox News reported that the word “Jesus” and a cross on the sign had been crossed out, while the word “Satan” was written on it.

Phoenix police told Fox News Digital that officers responded at approximately 8:09 a.m. after receiving reports of vandalism at a memorial near 4900 East Beverly Road.

Police said the incident remained under investigation. No arrest or suspect description had been announced at the time of the report.

Turning Point USA said it planned to clean and restore the statue and replace the damaged signs. The organization also said it was reviewing available footage and cooperating with police.

Kirk, the co-founder of Turning Point USA, was fatally shot on September 10, 2025, while speaking at an event at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah. He was 31.

The reported vandalism came only days after the memorial was unveiled and shortly after the one-year anniversary of Kirk’s death.
