Treehouse: Goodbyes, Courtrooms, and Courage
The following moments were inspired by the vibrant energy of the fashion district. As we immerse ourselves in creativity and connection, "Rather Be (feat. Jess Glynne)" by Clean Bandit sets the perfect tone for the journey.

Holding the Line, Together
I’m teaching a group yoga class in the store today—partly for the team, but also for the customers. It feels like a small moment of peace on a day wrapped in so much weight. This morning, I woke up to that text from Avenue of the Stars, and it hit me harder than I expected. "I’m gonna miss y’all. Wish me the best." How do you even respond to something like that? There was a heaviness in those words, like a glimpse of everything he’s carrying with him—everything he’s carrying for us. Yesterday was his last day here, and we all tried to act normal, but we knew. We knew what today means. His court date. It’s not just a fight for him—it’s a fight for everything he believes in. Everything we believe in.
It’s hard not to think of him as David, standing there with all the odds stacked against him, staring down a Goliath that looms so much larger. And yet, he carries himself with this quiet bravery that you can’t help but admire. We all saw it in the way he worked, the way he treated people. He made you feel seen, valued, like you were part of something bigger, no matter your role. That kind of person doesn’t come around often. And now he’s walking into that courtroom, probably scared, probably unsure, but doing it anyway. I think that’s what courage really looks like—not the absence of fear, but standing tall in the face of it.
Sitting here in my Fabletics fit, leading this yoga class as the world spins on, I can’t help but feel the knot in my chest. It’s rare to witness someone stand up the way he is. We joked a lot; we got through tough days together, and somehow, he could always make you feel like you weren’t alone in any of it. And now, we’re the ones standing behind him, even if it’s just from afar—sending him every ounce of good energy we can muster, hoping the universe hears us. If anyone can pull this off, it’s him. He deserves this win, not just for himself but for everything he represents. I hope he knows that we’re with him, every step of the way.
