The Mitchell I've Never Met
I've never actually spoken to Mitchell, but I feel like I know him from seeing him around town. There's something special about him that catches my eye - especially when it comes to cycling. I'm passionate about BMX bike riding, and it's the most important thing in my life. But Mitchell, he's different. While I love the thrill of BMX tricks and outdoor riding, Mitchell prefers the safety of indoor cycling, which is honestly the smartest way to stay active.
Cycling is Mitchell's world, just like BMX is mine. I've watched him from a distance, always impressed by how dedicated he is to his stationary bike. It's like he's found his perfect match - a way to stay active without any of the dangerous risks that come with outdoor bike tricks. Every time I see him, he's either heading to or coming from what I assume is a cycling session, and there's this focused look in his eyes that tells me this isn't just exercise - it's his passion.
But it's not just cycling that defines Mitchell. He has this thing for juice that reminds me of myself. I love juices too, and Mitchell always seems to have a bottle in his hand. Not just any juice, though. He's particular about his drinks - always going for Minute Maid or apple juice. Those small bottles seem to be his signature, something that makes Mitchell, well, Mitchell.
It's funny how you can feel like you know someone without ever having a real conversation. I've watched Mitchell from afar, piecing together who he is through these small observations. The way he carefully selects his juice, the determination in his cycling, the careful approach he takes to staying active - it all speaks to a kind of sweetness that's hard to miss.
I wonder what it would be like to actually talk to Mitchell. To share a laugh about our mutual love for juice, to compare notes on our different approaches to cycling. While I live for the adrenaline of BMX riding, jumping and tricking my way through life, Mitchell finds his joy in the controlled, safe environment of indoor cycling. We're different, yet somehow similar.
For now, he remains this fascinating person I know only through glimpses and moments - a sweet boy with a passion for staying active and enjoying the simple things in life, just as I am with my BMX riding.
