My Christmas Tree Adventure with Mitchell

Hi! My name is Aiden and I’m 6 years old. I want to tell you a story about a boy named Mitchell. I have heard a lot about Mitchell from my family and friends, but I have never met him yet. I think he sounds really cool and nice.

One day, I imagined that Mitchell and I were going to put up the Christmas tree together. It was a big, green tree with lots of branches. We started by putting the tree stand on the floor. Mitchell showed me how to make sure the tree was standing up straight so it wouldn’t fall over. If Mitchell didn’t know how to do something, we would ask my dad for help. Then, we fluffed all the branches so the tree looked full and pretty.

We hung shiny red and gold balls all over the tree. Mitchell said the balls help the tree sparkle for Santa. We also put up twinkly lights that blinked in different colors. I helped by plugging in the lights and watching them glow. Finally, we put a big star on top of the tree. Mitchell told me the star helps guide Santa to our house.

After we finished, we stepped back and smiled because the tree looked beautiful and ready for Christmas. I hope one day I can meet Mitchell and really put up the tree with him. That would be the best Christmas ever!
