Mitchell’s Movie Night
Hey, I’m Nathan, and I’ve got this whole scenario worked out about Mitchell and his movie-going experience. Mitchell is this boy I see around town, and I’ve built up this entire movie night story in my head that I just have to share.
First off, let me tell you about Mitchell’s popcorn situation. I’m absolutely convinced he’s a butter lover. Not just a little butter - I mean a full-on butter experience. I picture him at the concession stand, carefully positioning that butter dispenser, making sure every single kernel gets completely coated. It’s like he’s on a mission to create the most perfectly buttered popcorn in movie theater history.
And the popcorn? He’s definitely going for the extra-large bucket. You know, the one that comes with free refills. Mitchell seems like the type who would totally take advantage of that deal. I can see him walking up to the counter, confidently ordering that massive bucket, already planning how he’ll get a refill halfway through the movie.
Now, about those cupcakes - I know he buys them at the grocery store, but I don’t think he’s bringing them into the theater. That’s where my imagination draws the line. Mitchell might love his cupcakes when he’s shopping, but at the movies, it’s all about that buttery popcorn.
His outfit is something else entirely. When Mitchell walks around town, he’s always dressed in these bright, playful clothes that make him stand out. I imagine he dresses the same way for the movies - maybe a bright blue shirt, or something with a fun pattern. It’s like he’s still got this little boy energy, even when he’s going to see a movie.
I’ve watched Mitchell around town enough to know he’s got this unique way of moving. Confident, but still kind of childlike. When I imagine him at the movies, he’s probably bouncing a little as he walks to his seat, that extra-large buttered popcorn in hand. He’s not trying to be cool or grown-up - he’s just being completely himself.
The movie theater is like his own personal playground. I bet he picks the perfect seat - not too close, not too far back. Just right for getting the full movie experience. And that popcorn? It’s his ultimate companion. Each handful is probably carefully selected, making sure it’s got the perfect butter-to-kernel ratio.
It’s funny how in a small town, you can create these entire scenarios about people you barely know. Mitchell probably has no idea that I’ve constructed this entire movie night narrative about him. He’s just going about his day, walking around town, buying his cupcakes, being himself.
But in my mind, he’s the guy with the brightest clothes, the most buttered popcorn, and the most enthusiastic movie-going attitude. Mitchell might be just another person in town to everyone else, but to me, he’s this larger-than-life character with an epic movie night routine.
So that’s Mitchell - at least, the Mitchell that exists in my imagination. Butter-loving, popcorn-refilling, brightly-dressed movie enthusiast. Just another character in the story of our small town.
