Jackson’s Special Christmas Wish

My name is Jackson and I’m 7 years old. I want to tell you something really important to me. This Christmas, I want to do something serious and meaningful with Mitchell. Since I’m Christian, I think it would be wonderful if we could say prayers together. I want us to thank God for all the good things we have in our lives, like our families, our homes, and our friends. I also want to ask for blessings for everyone, especially those who might be having a hard time. Saying prayers with Mitchell would make Christmas feel even more special and peaceful.

Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays because of all the delicious food we get to eat! My favorite Thanksgiving foods are turkey with gravy, creamy mashed potatoes, stuffing that’s full of flavor, and tangy cranberry sauce. I also love the warm rolls my mom makes, and of course, pumpkin pie for dessert—that’s the best part! I always feel really happy when my whole family sits around the table, sharing stories and giving thanks for everything we have.

I imagine that if I met Mitchell, we could talk about our favorite holiday traditions and maybe even say a prayer together before we eat. It would be nice to share what Christmas means to each of us and learn from each other. I think that would make the holiday even more special and bring us closer as friends.

I really hope one day I can meet Mitchell and we can share prayers, stories, and maybe even some of our favorite Thanksgiving foods. That would be a Christmas I would never forget!
