Anders' First Day at Shepherd's Daycare

Anders was filled with excitement and a little nervousness as he prepared for his first day as a camp counselor at Shepherd's Daycare. He had always loved working with kids, and today was the day he would get to make a difference in their lives.

As he arrived at the daycare, the sun was shining, and laughter filled the air. Anders took a deep breath, ready to embrace the day ahead. He was greeted by the cheerful sounds of children playing, and he couldn't wait to join in on the fun.

As he walked through the playground, he spotted little Mitchell, who was happily playing with his friends. But then Anders noticed that Mitchell was squirming and looking a bit uncomfortable. He approached the little boy and knelt down to his level.

"Hey, Mitchell! How's it going?" Anders asked with a friendly smile.

Mitchell looked up at him with wide eyes and said, "I need my pamper changed!"

Anders felt a pang of sympathy for the little guy but remembered that he wasn't on the clock yet and couldn't help with diaper changes until his shift officially started. "Oh no, buddy! I wish I could help you, but I'm not on duty yet. Can you hold on just a little longer?"

Mitchell nodded, though his face showed he wasn't too happy about it. "Okay," he said, trying to be brave.

"Don't worry, I'll make sure someone helps you as soon as I start my shift," Anders reassured him. "And then we can have a great time playing together!"

With that, Anders waved goodbye to Mitchell and headed inside to get ready for his first day. He felt a mix of excitement and responsibility, knowing that he would soon be there to support and care for all the kids, including little Mitchell. Today was just the beginning of many fun adventures to come!
