Mitchell's Doctor Visit and Pamper Mishap
Dr. Justin arrived at Shepherds Daycare with his medical bag, a calm presence among the bustling toddlers. Mitchell was called for his routine checkup, his small frame seeming even tinier next to the professional medical equipment.
“Let’s see how you’re growing,” Justin said, guiding Mitchell to the examination area.
The checkup was thorough but gentle. Justin checked Mitchell’s height, weight, and overall development. Mitchell squirmed a bit but remained relatively cooperative, fascinated by the doctor’s stethoscope and gentle demeanor.
“Time to put away your diapers,” Justin instructed after the examination, handing Mitchell a jumbo box of Huggies and Pampers.
Mitchell toddled towards the supply closet, the box nearly as big as he was. With determination, he pushed open the door and began trying to place the box in his designated cubby.
In the midst of his task, Mitchell’s body decided it was the perfect moment for an unexpected bowel movement. His face scrunched up, and suddenly his diaper was anything but clean.
Justin, noticing the situation, called over one of the camp counselors. “Looks like Mitchell needs a change,” he said with a knowing smile.
The counselor approached, ready to handle the messy situation with the practiced ease that comes from working with toddlers day in and day out.
Mitchell, seemingly unbothered, continued to focus on his task of storing the diaper box, blissfully unaware of the minor chaos his bodily function had just created.
