MODEL & LIKENESS RELEASE AGREEMENT
I, the undersigned, hereby voluntarily grant to Mitch Leyor, together with its affiliates, representatives, successors, assigns, production partners, and authorized third-party service providers (“Mitch Leyor”), permission to photograph, film, record, and otherwise capture my likeness, image, appearance, voice, name, statements, and participation in connection with Mitch Leyor activities, events, productions, campaigns, editorial content, promotional materials, and other brand-related projects.
I understand and agree that the resulting photographs, video recordings, audio recordings, and other media may be edited, reproduced, published, displayed, distributed, transmitted, archived, and otherwise used by Mitch Leyor for legitimate brand, promotional, editorial, advertising, marketing, social media, public relations, website, digital, broadcast, and other communications purposes.
GRANT OF RIGHTS
I authorize Mitch Leyor to use my likeness and recorded participation in any reasonable format or medium, whether currently existing or developed in the future.
This may include, without limitation:
Photography
Video
Digital media
Social media
Websites
Editorial content
Promotional campaigns
Advertising materials
Television or broadcast media
Streaming platforms
Online publications
Brand presentations
Event documentation
Archival materials
Third-party or outsourced production and distribution platforms
I understand that Mitch Leyor may reproduce and distribute such content in connection with the Mitch Leyor brand without requiring additional permission from me for each individual use.
CREATIVE DIRECTION & BRAND CONTENT
I understand that Mitch Leyor may develop creative concepts, themes, visual treatments, campaigns, editorial ideas, and other artistic material in connection with its activities.
My participation may include taking part in photographs, filmed scenes, interviews, events, creative presentations, rehearsals, promotional activities, or other brand-related content as reasonably requested.
I acknowledge that the final creative presentation, including editing, sequencing, cropping, formatting, captioning, and placement of content, will be determined by Mitch Leyor or its authorized creative representatives.
I understand that individual photographs or recordings may be used separately or together with other photographs, recordings, graphics, text, music, or creative materials.
UNPAID PARTICIPATION
I expressly acknowledge that my participation under this agreement is voluntary and unpaid.
I understand that I will not receive a modeling fee, appearance fee, residual payment, royalty, commission, or other monetary compensation for my participation or for the authorized use of my likeness and recorded materials under this agreement, unless a separate written agreement expressly provides otherwise.
I am participating with full knowledge that the opportunity is unpaid.
Nothing in this agreement creates an expectation of future paid employment, compensation, representation, or continued participation with Mitch Leyor.
NO OBLIGATION OF USE
I understand that Mitch Leyor is not obligated to use any photograph, recording, appearance, or other content featuring me.
Mitch Leyor may select which materials, if any, are ultimately used.
I further understand that participation in a shoot, event, or recording does not guarantee publication, promotion, placement, or continued use of any particular image or recording.
DURATION OF PERMISSION
The permission granted under this agreement applies to content captured during my participation in Mitch Leyor activities and may remain available for use for as long as such content remains reasonably relevant to the Mitch Leyor brand, its history, its communications, or its legitimate promotional and archival purposes.
I understand that previously created materials may continue to appear in archived, previously published, or distributed materials after the date on which active promotion of a particular campaign has ended.
NO OWNERSHIP CLAIM
I understand that Mitch Leyor will retain ownership and control of the photographs, video recordings, and other original media created by or on behalf of Mitch Leyor, subject to any rights that cannot lawfully be transferred.
I will not claim ownership of the resulting media solely because my likeness or participation appears within it.
PROFESSIONAL PARTICIPATION
I agree to conduct myself professionally and respectfully during Mitch Leyor activities and to follow reasonable instructions concerning scheduling, production, safety, styling, photography, filming, and event conduct.
I understand that participation may involve working with photographers, videographers, stylists, creative personnel, production personnel, and other authorized representatives.
REPRESENTATIONS
By signing this agreement, I confirm that:
I have read this agreement carefully.
I understand the nature of the permission I am granting.
I understand that my participation is unpaid.
I am voluntarily participating.
I understand that photographs and recordings may be used for Mitch Leyor-related promotional, editorial, marketing, digital, broadcast, social, and archival purposes.
I understand that content may be edited or incorporated into larger creative works.
I have had the opportunity to ask questions regarding this agreement before signing.
I am signing this agreement freely and without coercion.
If I am under the age of legal majority in the applicable jurisdiction, I understand that an appropriate parent or legal guardian must review and execute any required consent or release on my behalf.
FINAL ACKNOWLEDGMENT
By signing below, I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and voluntarily accepted the terms of this Model & Likeness Release Agreement.
I understand that this document governs the use of my likeness and participation in connection with Mitch Leyor and that my participation is unpaid unless otherwise established by a separate written agreement.
I understand the nature of the rights being granted and voluntarily provide my consent.
