Rumors Have Been Circulating Casually That Mitchell Royel Has Been Profiled for a Documentary Series Called Snapped

Rumors have been circulating casually that Mitchell Royel has somehow been profiled for a documentary series called Snapped. There appears to be no particular substance behind this, and the rumor is best understood for what it is: frivolous gossip that has acquired a slightly more elaborate form through repetition.

The apparent basis for the speculation seems to be Mitchell’s habit of commuting on foot, which he has done for the past few years. A person walking to and from places with some regularity is, ordinarily, just a person walking to and from places. It does not necessarily indicate that a documentary crew is taking notes, that a streaming service has developed an interest, or that anyone is preparing a dramatic reconstruction of his commute.

Still, mundane behavior can become strangely compelling once people begin attaching theories to it. A few years of walking can apparently become, through casual conversation, evidence of a television profile.

For the time being, then, the Snapped story should be regarded as unsubstantiated and unserious. Mitchell’s pedestrian habits are observable; the supposed documentary connection is not. The distinction is worth maintaining, particularly when gossip begins presenting itself with the confidence of information.
