Mitchell’s Preschool Workbook
Adventure At daycare, everyone knew that Mitchell loved to work on his preschool workbook. The little tables were scattered with crayons, stickers, and fun activities, and today was no different. Mitchell sat down at his favorite table, excited to tackle all the colorful pages filled with letters, numbers, and fun shapes. But as he began, he quickly realized that some of the activities were tougher than he thought. The puzzles were tricky, and the drawing tasks didn’t come out quite the way he wanted. Frustration started to bubble inside him. “Ugh! Why can’t I do this?” he grumbled. Feeling overwhelmed, Mitchell wanted to take a break. He glanced around the room. The other kids were happily working on their own projects, and all he could think about was how badly he wanted to escape the challenge. In a moment of frustration, he let out a sigh and decided to take a break in his own way. With a cheeky grin, he placed his pampered rear on top of his workbook, thinking it would be funny. He giggled at the thought, but as he settled down, he felt a sudden urge. Before he knew it, he had pooped in his pampers! Momentarily caught off guard, he burst out laughing at the hilarity of the situation. “Oops!” he laughed, then, unable to hold back, he let out a loud fart right on top of the workbook. The sound echoed in the quiet room, causing a few kids to look over and giggle at Mitchell’s antics. His prank hadn’t gone unnoticed, but the fun moment came to a halt when Mr. Jay, the male caretaker, noticed the commotion. “Mitchell!” he called, trying not to laugh but clearly amused. “What are you doing, buddy?” He walked over, shaking his head with a smile but also concerned. Mitchell, still chuckling, admitted, “I just wanted to take a break!” But Mr. Jay could see it was time for a little lesson on appropriate behavior. “Alright, my little jokester,” he said gently but firmly. “I think you need a timeout to cool down and think about how we can have fun without making a mess.” Mitchell nodded, realizing that maybe he had gone a little too far this time. He didn’t like timeouts, but he understood that they were a part of learning. As he sat in the corner, he thought about his workbook and how he could tackle it more calmly next time. After a few minutes, Mr. Jay came to check on him. “Feeling better?” he asked. Mitchell nodded, ready to give the workbook another try—without any silly stunts this time. From then on, he promised himself that he would always try his best, even when things got frustrating. And of course, he’d make sure to keep his pampered antics for when he was in a safe, clean place—or at home with his family!
