Mitchell's Special Bowling Day

Mitchell was excited for his bowling day! Though he was bigger than most toddlers, Mitchell's mind was just like a two-year-old's. He loved colors, sounds, and new adventures with his caretakers, Sam and Alex.

"Look at all the pretty balls!" Mitchell said, pointing at the colorful bowling balls lined up on the rack.

Sam helped Mitchell pick a light blue ball. "This one's perfect for you," he smiled.

When it was Mitchell's turn to bowl, he stood at the lane with Alex's gentle guidance. But instead of rolling the ball, Mitchell became distracted by the shiny wooden floor. He waddled forward onto the lane, fascinated by how slippery it felt under his feet.

"Mitchell, buddy, we bowl from back here," Alex called softly.

Mitchell suddenly stopped. His face turned red with concentration, and he pushed his bottom out. Sam noticed right away what was happening.

"Oh, I think Mitchell needs a moment," Sam said kindly.

Mitchell squirmed a bit, and his pampers bulged. A soft squishing sound could be heard as Mitchell had his accident.

"All done," Mitchell announced, looking relieved but a little embarrassed.

"That's okay, Mitchell," Alex said, walking over to him. "Everyone's body works differently. Let's get you comfortable again."

Sam had already prepared their special backpack. "We'll take a little break and then come back for more bowling. You're doing great!"

Mitchell nodded, feeling safe with his caring friends. They never made him feel bad about his needs.

After getting cleaned up, Mitchell returned to finish his turn. This time, with Alex's help, he rolled the ball and knocked down three pins!

"I did it!" Mitchell cheered, jumping up and down, the earlier moment forgotten in his joy.

Sam and Alex smiled at each other, happy to see Mitchell enjoying himself. Being Mitchell's caretakers wasn't always easy, but moments like these—seeing his pure happiness—made everything worthwhile.
