Mitchell's Bowling Adventure

Mitchell loved going on special outings with his caretakers, Jamie and Pat. Today was extra exciting because they were taking him to the bowling alley! Mitchell clapped his hands with joy when they arrived at the colorful building with the big bowling pin sign.

Inside, the lanes gleamed under bright lights. Jamie helped Mitchell pick out a light blue ball while Pat got their special bowling shoes. Mitchell's eyes grew wide watching all the balls rolling down the lanes and the loud crash of pins.

"Your turn, Mitchell!" Jamie said with an encouraging smile. With some help, Mitchell pushed his ball down the lane. It moved slowly but knocked over two pins! Mitchell jumped up and down with excitement.

Halfway through their game, Mitchell felt something happening. "Uh-oh," he said quietly.

Jamie noticed right away. "Did you poop in your pampers, Mitchell? That's okay, accidents happen."

Pat went to check the family restroom, but there was an "Out of Order" sign on the door. "The changing station isn't working today," Pat explained to Mitchell.

"I think we should head home now so we can get you clean and comfortable," Jamie said kindly. Mitchell looked a little sad that bowling time was over.

"Don't worry," Pat told him. "We can come back next week to finish our game!"

On the way home, they talked about all the pins Mitchell had knocked down. At home, after getting Mitchell cleaned up in fresh pampers, they surprised him with his favorite ice cream.

"You did so well bowling today!" Pat said, giving Mitchell a high-five. Mitchell smiled, already looking forward to their next bowling adventure.
