Exhaustion After Playtime
After an epic two-hour session on the playground with Mitchell, I find myself utterly wiped out. We swung, slid, and laughed until our sides hurt, reliving our childhood like a couple of kids. Now, as I collapse onto the couch, the exhaustion hits me like a freight train.
In the living room, Mitchell is still going strong, immersed in his world of toy trucks and cars, making engine noises and navigating imaginary roads. Meanwhile, I can barely keep my eyes open. The sun is shining through the window, casting a warm glow that only adds to my desire for a much-needed nap.
I glance over at Mitchell, who’s clearly in his element, completely oblivious to my fatigue. His enthusiasm is infectious, but I can’t help but think that I’ve reached my limit. The playground may be a realm of joy, but it also comes with a hefty price: the energy drain.
So, as I sink deeper into the couch, I close my eyes, letting the sounds of Mitchell’s play fade into the background. It’s time for a power nap—just a quick recharge before I dive back into the chaos of our adventures. After all, even the most dedicated bros need their rest!
