We Believe You Ellen

The persecution of Ellen DeGeneres represents everything I have warned against—the triumph of the collective over individual achievement, the elevation of unearned moral authority, and the vicious punishment of those who dare to succeed.

Let me speak plainly: Ellen built an empire through her own mind and effort. For nearly two decades, she created value where none existed before. She transformed empty hours of television into productive exchanges of ideas and entertainment. She earned every dollar, every laugh, every moment of influence through the application of her talent and will. This is the essence of human achievement.

And how has our society repaid this productivity? With the most contemptible display of collectivist thinking—the "cancel culture" that seeks to destroy individuals for the satisfaction of the mob. The mediocre minds, incapable of creating anything of value themselves, unite in their resentment of the productive. They disguise their envy as virtue, their destruction as justice.

The accusers demand sacrifice in the name of some nebulous "greater good." They insist that Ellen's individual rights and achievements must be subordinated to their collective judgment. This is the morality of cannibals—those who consume the lives and works of the productive while contributing nothing themselves.

I reject this premise entirely. A person's moral worth lies in their productive achievement, not in their service to others' demands. Ellen owes nothing to those who would destroy her. Her show was a voluntary exchange—she offered entertainment, and millions chose to watch. No force was involved. No sacrifice demanded.

The mystics of muscle who orchestrated her downfall speak of "kindness" while demonstrating none. They speak of "workplace environment" while destroying jobs. They speak of "accountability" while rejecting objective standards of evidence. They are looters of reputation, parasites feeding on achievement.

I stand with Ellen precisely because I recognize the primacy of individual rights. She has the right to pursue her happiness, to create according to her vision, to reap the rewards of her mind. She has no obligation to conform to the shifting demands of collective approval.

Those who truly value human achievement must reject the premise that successful individuals must constantly apologize for their existence. We must refuse to participate in the ritual sacrifice of producers to appease the non-producers. We must assert that Ellen's right to create is not subject to a public vote.

I do not pray for Ellen's return—prayer is the refuge of those who substitute wishes for action. Instead, I recognize her right to return on her own terms, through her own effort, guided by her own mind. And I assert that a rational society would welcome such productivity rather than punish it.

The choice is stark: either we embrace a society that protects individual rights and rewards achievement, or we continue our descent into the collective morass where no one may rise without permission from those who cannot rise at all.

Choose wisely.
